Richard "Dick" Hugh Arnold

Richard “Dick” Hugh Arnold, born April 22, 1935, in Powell, TN to Frank and Lodusky Kitts Arnold, passed away on June 23, 2024. He was a member of Virginia Avenue Methodist Church until its closing. He was a seventy-year member of IBEW Local 760, retiring from ORNL. He was a 65 year member of the Powell Masonic Lodge. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brothers-in-law: Gladys M. and William Mercer, Helen F. and James Ludlow, Trula M. and H.H. Manis Jr., brother and sister-in-law Gaines S. and Paulyne Arnold, and nephew Austin Mann. Richard is survived by his wife of 71 years, Lucy Arnold and daughter Debbie Arnold, as well as, nieces Gail Ludlow, Emily and Gordon Smith and family, and Judy and Bob Caulder and family. Additionally, he is preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law George H. and Cleo W. Cook, sister and brother-in-law Betty C. and Jack Brooks, and brother-in-law John Lakins. He is also survived by sister-in-law Pauline Lakins, nephews David Wayne and Marilyn Lakins and family, Floyd and Sebrina Brooks and family, nieces Lori Brooks and Tammy and Robert Sliger and family.
