Rhonda Michelle Russell Martin

Rhonda Michelle Russel Martin, age 52, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, July 24, 2026, at home. She was employed by St. Mary’s Hospital and Tennova North for over 25 years. She was a loving mother and dear friend.

Preceded in death by mother, Patricia Cook; grandparents, Ronald and Ruth Russell (Mammy and Pappy); grandchildren, Chandler, Lemmon and Lime.

Survived by daughter, Kimberly Martin; son, Michael Martin (Ashlee); sister, Jennifer Russell; 2 nephews and 1 niece; BFF, Michelle Ownby; special friend, Brandy Breeden.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 2–3 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, 2829 Rennoc Rd., Knoxville, TN 37918. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Paul Ownby officiating.
