Rex Allen Hutchison

Rex Allen Hutchison, age 66, of Knoxville, TN went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 27, 2024 while surrounded by his loved ones. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Rex was a musician, known to be able to play many different instruments. He loved the Lord and enjoyed spending time with his family.  

He is preceded in death by his parents Cecil J. and Betty L. Hutchison; his son, Joey Allen Hutchison; and his brothers, Rev. Steve J. Hutchison and Rev. David Hutchison.

Rex is survived by his wife, Tammy Hutchison; siblings, Glenda (Lynn) Crowder and Scott (Dessa) Hutchison; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

The family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 5:00-7:00PM with a funeral service to follow, officiated by Rev. Louis Branch and Rev. Danny Buchanan. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 10:00AM to go in procession to Seven Islands Cemetery for an 11:00AM interment.
