Rev. Harold Ellis

Reverend Harold Ellis age 91, went to his Heavenly home with a beautiful smile on his face on Friday, June 19, 2026. A devoted servant of God; loving husband and cherished father and grandfather. Harold spent his life preaching the Gospel of Jesus; spreading hope, faith, love and light to everyone he met.

Left behind to mourn: Harold’s cherished wife of 70 years, Wille Ellis; devoted children, Vickie (Alvin) Ault, Mike (Shannon) Ellis and Keith (Lee) Ellis; precious grandchildren, Jason (Chesney) Ault, Amy (Jackie) Appling, Dustin (Alex) Ellis, Megan Elllis, Michaela (Alex) Ellis-West and Breanna (Jeff) Griffin. He was blessed with several precious great and great-great grandchildren, each of whom he loved with all his heart.

Harold will lie in state at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church (Foust Hollow Rd) from 4:00-6:00 PM on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. A graveside service will follow at 6:00 PM in the church cemetery with Pastor Doug Munsey officiating. Serving as pallbearers: Jason Ault, Jackie Appling, Dustin Ellis, Jeff Griffin, Jayden Ault and Tennessee Ellis.
