Rebecca Smith Asher

Rebecca Ann Smith Asher, age 50 of Knoxville, passed away June 2, 2024. She enjoyed being a mail carrier for about 20 years and was also a boy scout leader for several years as well. Rebecca loved to do arts and crafts of many kinds. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and a dear friend. Preceded in death by parents Barbara Ann and Leonard Ware Smith. Survived by sons Christopher Cody (32), Jonathan Andrew Asher (32) (Kayla LeAnn Stalans Asher), Nathan Ware Asher (22), daughter Samantha Ann Asher (21) (Adrain Martinez), grandchildren Bobbi Elizza Atkins and Payton Ann Marie Schleigh, brother Andrew Ware Smith, and dearest friends Donna, Valerie, and Ben.
