Randall "Smutt" Bruce Smith

Randy "Smutt" Smith age 64 of Knoxville, passed away suddenly Sunday, April 26, 2026 at his home.  Randy was a painter by trade were he learned from his grandfather, Clarence Smith and father, Ronald Smith.  Randy was the type of person that marched to the beat of his own drum.  Randy mirrored his great uncle, Jefferson Barton who also marched to the beat of his own drum.  Randy also loved fishing and motorcycle riding.  He was a 1979 graduate of Holston High School , where he grew up in the North Acres area and Brentwood Street, Knoxville.  Preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Smith; mother, Frankie Barton Smith; and father, Ronald Smith.  The family would like to thank April Shipley as his caregiver, neighbors, the Dyer and Lynn families.  All services will be private.  Condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com.
