Ralph Tallent

Ralph E. Tallent, age 76, of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Sunday, February 16, 2025. He was 76. Ralph was a devoted Christian, and an honest, hardworking family man who had a great sense of humor. He will be remembered fondly as an amazing father, coach, avid bowler and a huge U. T. Volunteer fan. He will be greatly missed by all – but we are comforted by the many cherished memories of family vacations, backyard cookouts, softball games and bowling tournaments. Ralph is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda (Huskey) Tallent; parents, William and Dorothy Tallent; and brother, Billy Tallent. He is survived by his children, Staci (Shawn Asbury) Crosswhite and Jason (Angel) Tallent; grandchildren Jefstiny Summers, Jeffrey Summers; and great grandchildren, Aneriah, Andrew, Arnnell, Ace and Aloni; brothers, Gary Tallent and Allan Tallent. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 pm at Faithway Baptist Church, Reverend Rick Graves officiating.
