Ralph Staton

Ralph Staton, age 94, entered into his heavenly rest on Saturday. February 14, 2026. He is preceded in death by first wife Betty, second wife Carol, father, Felton, his mother, brothers Wayne, Hoyt, and Junior; and sisters Betty and Louise. He is survived by his daughter LaNae, son-in-law Chris, grandson Hunter, step-daughter Melody, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Ralph was born in Cummings, Georgia and had a successful career as a steelworker at Bethlehem Steel. Ralph had a passion for the Lord and served him faithfully up until his passing. He loved his family who was the joy and pride of his life. He was always loving, caring, totally non-judgmental, always forgiving and hysterically funny. To his family, there is not enough words to describe his goodness or his life. In general, he was far above any good thing we could say.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Mynatt Funeral Home from 10:30-11:30am. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Tony Vick officiating. Friends and family will go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery following the service where Ralph will be laid to rest.
