Ralph "Eddie" Edward Belew

Ralph "Eddie" Edward Belew (Eddie), age 77, of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. He was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Heiskell, TN. He was also a member of the Iron Workers Union and worked around the country as a wallpaper manager, remodeling and painter. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Above all, he dearly loved and cherished his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Marshall and Edna Marie Belew; and brothers, Artis Lee, Frank and Bobby.

Eddie is survived by his wife of 59 years, Brenda; children, Richie (Stephanie) Belew, Tony Belew, and Tina Freeman (Issac); grandchildren, Kelsey Mitzelfeld (Elliot), Logan Belew, Roland Belew, Madeline Belew and Benjamin Freeman; great-grandchildren, Luka Grey Belew, Kamryn Walker Mitzelfeld; brother, Wayne (Sheila) Belew; and special friends, Rick and Jeff Smith.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, followed by a 7:00 pm funeral service. Family and friends will meet at 12:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel on Monday, October 19, 2026, and travel in procession to Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery for a 1:00 pm interment.
