Peggy Lou Rabideau, beloved Grandmother, and Mother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6th, 2025, at the age of 85. She was surrounded by her loved ones in her home, finding peace in the embrace of her family.
She lived a beautiful life surrounded by family and friends celebrating every holiday and creating memories that lasted a lifetime. She hosted many parties over the years and always made everyone feel welcome and loved. She has gone home to be with Jesus but her presence on earth will never be forgotten.
Throughout her life, Peggy touched the hearts of many with her sense of humor and goofy personality.
She was always there if you needed her. She was an ear to listen and a shoulder to cry on. She will be remembered for loving her family and showing up for those she loved no matter what.
Proceeded in death by her parents Arthur and Minnie (Moses) Byrd and her sibling Eugene Byrd, Fannie Byrd (Claude) Kitts, Rubye Byrd (William (Boyd)Reynolds, William (Bill) (Betty) Byrd, Jerry (Betty) Byrd, Sara Byrd Vanover, Carl (Thelma) (Myrna) Byrd, and Shirley Byrd (Otha (JR) Newman and many nieces and nephews.
Survived by her daughters Angela D. (Nipper) Jefferies and Cindy G. (Nipper) P'Simer, grandkids Samantha, Tyler, Logan, Jordan and numerous nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. On Friday, July 11, 2025, family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM for an 11:00 AM graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Tyler P'Simer, Logan P'Simer, Jeremiah Funkhouser, Ray Witt, Shane Faulkner, and Thomas Moore.
