Peggy "Mama Boo" Fortner

Peggy “Mama Boo” Fortner, age 59, originally from Marrero, Louisiana, currently from Knoxville, passed away February 13, 2016. She was preceded in death by parents, James & Mary Richthofen, and step-son, Michael McGinnis. Survived by husband, Albert Fortner; son, Lee Fortner; daughter, Lacey Whaley and husband, Robert Hancock; 4 grandchildren, Aaron, Alyssa, Destiny, Dalton; brother, Chris Richthofen; sister, Tammy Stockstill; a step-mother, and several step-brothers and sister, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 8pm, Rev. Ernest Fortner officiating.
