Peggy Dean Proaps Watson

Peggy Dean Proaps Watson, age 76 of Knoxville, passed away June 26, 20-14. Member of Calvary Baptist Church of Lenoir City. Peggy retired from Sears and Roebuck Company after 35 years of service. She loved flowers, gardening, camping, the beach, and the outdoors. Preceded in death by parents, Paul and Edna Proaps. Survived by loving husband of 54 years, Robert “Phil” Phillip Watson; sons, Robert “Robbie” Watson, Jr. and Richard Lynn (Melinda) Watson; grandchildren, Sarah Watson, Robert “Trey” Watson, III, Madison Watson, and Arianah Frost; brother, Larry Paul Proaps; sister, Paula Proaps Cathy. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow, Rev. Rick Passmore officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Tuesday at Lakeview Cemetery, in Lenoir City, for 11:00 am interment.
