Patricia (Patti) Lynn Galle Keck, 77, of Powell peacefully passed away on April 28th, 2024. She was a beacon of light and kindness to so many who knew her.
Patti was a loving mother, wife and friend who went out of her way to help others. She volunteered throughout her life and her smile lit up the room. Neighborhood kids were always at the house and Patti loved it.
Patti graduated from Corning-Painted Post East High School, class of 1965. She moved to Powell with late husband Richard F. Keck in 1971. She served for several years in the PTA at Powell Elementary when her kids were in school. She was an active bowler since the 1970’s and worked for over 20 years as a Welcome Wagon Hostess to the Powell community. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi of Powell from May 1973 to present and deeply loved her sorority sisters. In later years she volunteered at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church where she attended. She was loved by so many in the community.
She is survived by her son, Richard Keck (partner Patty), daughter Gini and husband Janis Ezernieks, grandsons Kyle, Jonathan, Will, Jenson & Jesse, brother-in-law Donald Keck, and numerous extended family members and longtime friends. As an adoptee, her loving family grew in the last years as she connected with her birth families. She is preceded in death by her parents Tony and Lucille Galle, and husband Richard F. Keck.
Receiving of friends will be at Mynatt Funeral Home, 2000 Powell Drive, Powell, TN 37849, from 11:00 am – 1pm, Saturday, May 4th, 2024. Services and interment to follow.
Special thanks to longtime family friends, Dennis and Rosanne Lindquist, Hugh and Mary Newsome, and David and Regina Sowko. Also, special friend Susan Berry and daughters Jennifer and Whitney, as well as all of Patti’s loving sorority sisters, and her extended bowling family, including Janet Brady.
Patti’s family would like to say a special thank you to all the first responders who worked to revive Patti the morning of a neighbor’s house fire, and the wonderful doctors, nurses, and staff at Covenant Health Fort Sanders. All gave us time to say our goodbyes.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation.
