Pat left us on March 25, 2023, following a long battle with cancer. She was born to her parents Ora and Delmar Carr in LaFollette, TN, where she graduated high school and went on to attend LMU. She then went to work in the medical field in Knoxville, TN for 30 years. She was privileged to have been born into a loving Christian family, who always kept in touch and got together often to share their love for one another. Pat belonged to Christ United Methodist Church in Halls and loved her church family, especially her Sunday school class. Preceded in death by parents Ora and Delmar Carr and brother David Alexander Carr. She is survived by her “God send”, best friend, and loving husband, David Linkous, brother Phillip Carr, sister-in-law and best friend Diane Carr, step-daughter Peggy Linkous Russell (Jack), stepson Clay Linkous (Katie), 8 step-grandchildren, 2 special nephews Matt (Shannon) and Andy (Meghan) Carr, 7 great-nieces and nephews, and special long-time friend Pauline Vincent.
