Paris Theodore Archer of Clinton, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, September 15th, 2026.
Paris was a Korean War veteran & his family’s hero. He loved to hear & tell jokes, sometimes laughing so hard he couldn’t get to the punch line. He & his wife loved to listen to local musicians play while they danced.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Ethel, 2 twin daughters - Marilyn & Carolyn, his parents Kiley & Vina Archer, Brothers - Carson & Horace Archer & John Cabage.
He is survived by Son Terry (Sheila) Archer of Clinton, Grandchildren, Rodney (Callie) Archer of Andersonville, Michelle (Staniel) Scott of Powell, Megan (Jonathan) Bradley of Knoxville, Great Grandchildren - Seth, Tristan, Aiden & Nealee Scott, Jack & Rowan Bradley, Cruz Archer, sister Betty Jessing, & special friends - nephew Joe Harmon, Bob Tomkin, Pete Gawda & Teresa Stooksbury.
The family would like to thank UT Hospice (Katarina, Terri, Jim Carlisle). They would also like to thank Home Helpers of Knoxville & their caregiver, Kim Albain, whom they came to love.
Services will be announced at a later date.
Pall bearers will be Rodney Archer, Jonathan Bradley, Staniel, Seth, Tristan & Aiden Scott.
