Pallas Hammond Powers

Pallas Hammond Powers, age 68, of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord Monday, October 20, 2025. She was an OR nurse at UT Hospital for 35+ years. She was very involved in music ministry at Black Oak Heights Baptist Church playing the piano and the organ during her time there. She enjoyed crafting, cooking for her family and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Above all else, she loved the Lord. She was preceded in death by parents, Jesse and Florene Hammond and sister, Vickie Melton. She is survived by children, David Powers and Lydia (Josh) Yoder; grandchildren, Bryson Powers, Tyleigh Powers, Jackson Yoder and Charlie Yoder; siblings, Carol Harrell and Tim (Sonya) Hammond; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a receiving of friends from 5-6pm with a service to follow at Harvest Point Church 7419 Ball Camp Pike Knoxville, TN, Saturday, November 1, 2025.
