Oscar Lee Garner

Oscar Lee Garner, age 78, passed away Monday September 3, 2018. He was a member of Dante Church of God and he was also a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by Parents Robert and Ethel Garner; Brothers Billie, David, and Sammy Garner; Half-brothers Jim, John, Sebren, and James Garner; Sisters Bertha Stone and Ozell Burgess; and many other family members. He is survived by Wife of 53 years Mary Garner; Daughters Barbara Schaerfl (John) and Jennifer Wood (Bryce). Grandchildren Jonathan Schaerfl (Ashley), Brooke Olson (Kjell), Makenna Wood, and Lauren Wood. Great-grandchildren Madison, Landon, and Will; several nieces and nephews and other extended family members. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel from 6:00-8:00 pm. Services will be held on September 7, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel at 2:00 pm with a procession to Bells Campground Cemetery to follow the service.
