Opal Tharp Graves

Opal Tharp Graves, age 86, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord, on November 6, 2022. She was and avid gardener. She loved her grandson, Evan. She was a hardworking mother who loved her children deeply. Retired from Knox Porcelain Products after 48 years. She was a devoted Christian, loved Jesus, Opal was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Proceeded in death by husband, Clarence Lee Graves, son, Larry Graves. Survived by sons, Danny (Becky) Graves, Gregg (Laura) Graves, grandson Evan Graves. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with a funeral service at 7:00pm, Rev. Wayne Henderson officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel at 10:00am on Friday, November 11, 2022, to go in procession to Pleasant View Cemetery for an 11:00am graveside service.
