Opal R. Posey

Opal R Posey, age 88 of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family. She worked for many years at Palm Beach Mill Outlet. She was a member of Son Light Baptist Church, and a member of the Moose Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Harold Posey, son; Jerry Posey, grandsons; Kevin Kirklen and Albert Lee Hranek.

She is survived by her son; Glenn Posey, daughter; Lisa Wise, son; Kenny Posey, grandchildren; Samantha Posey, Holly Wesseldine, Christopher Kirklen, Christina Posey, great-grandchildren; Autumn Hranek, Sierra Posey, Jasmine Posey, Olivia Johnson, Destiny, Bradlee and Jamie Stobie, brother; Gary Griffin, and several nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends from 5:00pm-6:00pm on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Son Light Baptist Church, 6494 Son Light Way, Knoxville, TN 37918. A 6:00pm service will follow, with Rev. Eddie Myers officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
