Norma Carringer
December 29, 1934 — December 27, 2024
Norma Carringer, age 89 of Knoxville, TN entered her Heavenly Home on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Sacred Ground Hospice House. She was a long- time member of Sharon Baptist Church. She retired from Levi Strauss after thirty- nine years as a supervisor.
Norma is preceded in death her mother and father Tom and Fleeta Kinder; brother, S.L. Kinder (Betty); and sister, Dorothy Sherrod (Bill).
Survived by husband of sixty-seven years, Gordon Carringer; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff of Sacred Ground Hospice House.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Sharon Baptist Church with a 7:00PM funeral service to follow, Doctor Jim Robertson and Rev. Mark McCoig officiating.
The family will meet at 10:45 am Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Woodlawn Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment.
