Neva Faye Segers

Segers, Neva Faye age 91 of Powell Tennessee passed away peacefully at Sacred Ground Hospice House on March 27, 2024. Neva was born on December 2, 1932, in Powell Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Clayton L “Sam” Segers. She was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church since 1963. Neva retired from Home Federal Savings and Loan in December of 1997, and then worked on call from 1999 through 2016. She was a loyal and dedicated employee for 51 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law Buster and Brenda Segers and Mike and Cindy Segers, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews. Special thank you to Donna Stewart, Neva’s niece, for being her caretaker for the last few years of her life. The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm Friday March 29, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home in Powell Tennessee. A brief celebration of life to follow at 7pm, Rev Mike Segers officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for a 11am graveside service on March 30, 2024.
