Nellie Mae Sharp

Nellie Mae Sharp, age 68, of Knoxville, TN passed away September 27, 2025.

She was a spitfire. She loved her grandchildren, fishing, little dogs, and crocheting.

She is preceded in death by her stepfather, Kenneth Edward Branam Sr.; daughter, Krista Lashay Walker; brother, Jackie Lynn Dawson, and sister, Cindy Lea Ellison.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Lou Branam; sons, James Howard Sharp II and Robert Daniel Eugene Sharp; daughter, Elizabeth Mary Lea Walker; brothers, Danny Jay Branam Sr. and Kenneth Edward Branam Jr., and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her beloved grandchildren are Alyssa Rhiannon Tazlynn Walker, Nathaniel Christopher Keen, Elijah Walker, Kaylee Conner, John Mark Conner, Braelynn Walker, and Emily Rose Sharp.

Family will receive friends 4:00-6:00pm Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel with service to follow at 6:00pm. Family and friends will meet at 12:45pm in Walker Cemetery in Sharps Chapel on Friday, October 3, 2025 for a 1:00pm interment. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com
