Naomi Ruth Merritt, age 91, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024, peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. Naomi leaves behind Hugh Webb; children, Ginger Sams (Jim), Eddie Merritt (Julie), Barbara Finchum (Mike), Chuck Merritt (Lisa) and Susan Ooten (Dan); 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte Helton and Brenda Frye.
Special Thanks to Tennessee Cancer Specialist and UT Hospice.
A Call at your Convenience will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Mynatt Funeral Home- Powell Chapel, from 12:00pm-4:00pm. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am on Friday August 2, 2024 at Browns Gap Cemetery for an 11:00am graveside service with Rev. Eddie Myers officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
