Nancy Jewel Vermillion

Nancy Jewel Vermillion, age 91, of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. She was a lifelong member of City View Baptist Church. Nancy graduated from Knoxville High School in 1951 and worked at Georgia Pacific until her retirement. 

She is proceeded in death by her husband Richard Vermillion; her parents, Ples and Minnie Mae Farrington; her brothers Paul Farrington (Barbara) and Bob Farrington; sister-in-law, Irene Farrington. She is survived by her children, Sherry Vermillion (David Bledsoe) and Donna Mitchell (Darrell); her grandchildren, Tyler Mitchell (Bre) and Cameron Mitchell (Hannah); her great-grandchildren, Josie Mitchell and James Mitchell; also leaving behind her nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the wonderful caregivers at Holston Health & Rehabilitation.

Her receiving of friends will take place at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with an 8:00pm service on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Rev. Mike Segers officiating. She will be buried at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 11:00am on Friday, May 16, 2025.
