Nancy Yardley Meridieth, age 74 of Mascot, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 16, 2023. Nancy loved spending time with her great-grandkids and seeing family as often as she could. Attended Powell High School. Member of Rutledge Pike Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Meridieth; parents, Thurman and Cora Yardley; brother, Thurman “Ray” Yardley; and sisters, Virginia Russell and Mary Jane Greenlee. She is survived by loving children, Benjamin Cross and Kenneth Cross (Allison); grandchildren, Ashley Byrd (Tim), Christopher Cross, Cory Cross, Stewart Cross (Elizabeth), Amanda Cross, Terra Navarro (Sergio), Alana Barrett (Alberto), Lacey Cross, Kelsey Barrett, Bryston Cross, and Samantha Cross; great-grandchildren, Ava Cross, Eli Russell, Angelina Navarro, Graylee Cross, Zoee Russell, Allyson Navarro, Halen Reynolds, Kyler Cross, Lucas Gomez Barrett, Haliegh Barrett, Lorenzo Gomez Barrett, Madelyn Navarro, Easton Holbert, Leo Gomez Barrett, Daphne Byrd, Ivonna Barrett, Finley Byrd, and Attalias McCain; siblings Alma Mendenhall (James), Jimme Yardley (Ann), Judy Dooley, Bill Yardley (Melissa), Margaret Cox (Andy), and Bennie Yardley (Melissa); sister-in-law Glenda Yardley; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm, Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 7:00pm, officiated by Rev. Bob Zavatteri.
