Nancy Rebecca McCarty (Grubb)

Nancy Rebecca (Grubb) McCarty age 51 of Blaine formerly of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at home surrounded by her family.  She was a truck driver for Claiborne Hauling.  Preceded in death by father Samuel "Jack" Grubb; brother David Grubb; and significant other Roger Maples.  Survivors; mother Rebecca Harmon; son Preston (fiance Maggie Luttrell) McCarty; daughter Rachel McCarty; several cousins; special friends Michelle Swain and J. J. Thomas; many other close friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service, Micah Hawk officiating.   Family and friends will meet 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel to leave in procession for an 11:00 a.m. graveside at Grainger Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers; Chris Rutherford, Linden Swain, Randy Myers, Preston McCarty, Darrell Roach, and Wayne Garrett.
