Nancy Sue Essary

Nancy Sue Essary, age 77, passed away Friday, July 25, 2025. She was a strong and independent woman who touched many lives with her resilience, love, and unwavering spirit. After a courageous 13-month battle with cholangiocarcinoma, she passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus. She inspired everyone who knew her to live boldly, speak honestly, and love deeply. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing her.

Preceded in death by husband, Ron Essary, father and step-mother, Dan and Faye Beeler, biological mother, Marie, sister, Patricia Penland, and brother, Steve Beeler.

Survivors include children Angie (Jason) Reynolds and Kelly (Chris) Acuff. Brothers, Danny (Mary Katherine) Beeler and George (Sheryl) Beeler. Grandchildren, Whitney (Jesse) Overton, Keaton and Cameron Walker, Elise Acuff, Ethan and Ella Reynolds and her special cousin, Betty Huskey. Family wants to extend their deepest gratitude to Michele with UT Hospice for her kindness and support during her journey. There are many other family and friends, too many to mention.

Friends and Family will meet Friday, August 1, 2025 at 10:45am at Caledonia Presbyterian Church for an 11:00am graveside service with Preacher Jerry Lawrence officiating.
