Minnie Loetta Elkins

Minnie Loetta Elkins, age 97 of Heiskell, TN, passed away on July 11, 2025.

She was a lifelong member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and was the church pianist for several years.

She is preceded in death by parents David R. and Ibbie (Warwick) Elkins; sisters, Donia Stooksbury, Opal Brummitte, and Naomi Elkins; and her brothers, Wyatt, Burl, and Earl Elkins.

Minnie is survived by her brother Owen (Julia) Elkins, of Heiskell; special niece Becky; special nephews, Mark, Ben, Dennis, and Brent; special great nephews, Brad, Nick, Dallas, Justin, and Coty; and great niece, Kayla; along with several other nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at their convenience from 9am-5pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, on Friday, July 18, 2025. Family and friends will gather at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 11am on Saturday, July 19, 2025, for a graveside service, with Rev. Billy Moore officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cedar Grove Cemetery Fund.
