Mildred L. Peak

Mildred L. Peak, was called to be with the Lord on April 2, 2023 after a long illness

Born and raised in Fountain City. Mildred traveled the world with her military husband. She was a long-time member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Peak; her three sons, William, Daniel, and David Peak; brothers, Orvalee and David Hancock.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Mike) Hammack; sister, Mary Elizabeth Brady; several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

The family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel from 10:00am-12:00pm, on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, with a 12:00pm service to follow. Family and friends will then go in procession to Fort Sumter Cemetery for a graveside service. Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
