Michael Lynn Watson

Michael Lynn Watson, 54, of Hernando, Mississippi, passed away on September 25, 2025. He graduated from the University of Tennessee and later graduated from Christian Brothers in Memphis where he obtained his Master of Science degree. Michael worked for FedEx for twenty-eight years.

He is survived by his children Emma Jane Watson and Luke Thomas Watson; sister Jill Watson Belue (Brandon); nieces Hannah Belue, Maggie Belue; nephew Caleb Belue; and parents Sue and J.B Watson.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Amber Evans, Ms. Jennifer Parker, the Edge family, the Greer family, and the Hernando Baptist Church family.

Friends may visit with the family Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 11:00am until 12:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 12:00pm. Rev. Mike Powell will be officiating. Burial will follow the service at Bells Campground Cemetery.
