Michael Velazquez

Michael David Allen Valezquez, age 48, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025. He was employed at Firehouse Subs. Michael was a great friend, loving father and caring and respectful person, and was loved by many.

Preceded in death by father, Gilbert Martinez; sister, Nicole Velazquez; and grandmother, Wilma Taylor.

Survivors include mother, Sharon Martinez; children, Brittany Velazquez, Anthony Velazquez, Joseph Velazquez, Oliver Spangler, and Zoe Spangler; grandchildren, Maliyah, Alexia, Christopher, Jr., and Bentley West; sister, Michelle Velazquez; many cousins, friends and extended family.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com.
