Michael Wayde Parsons

Michael Wayde Parsons, age 68, of Knoxville, TN passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026. He was a beloved son, brother, father and grandfather and uncle who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward E. and Gladys Maggie Parsons; his brothers, Edward Jr. and James Parsons; and his sister, Jeanette Belfer. He is survived by brothers, Roy and Calvin Parsons; sisters, Janice Kelly and Vicki Davis; sons, Samuel (Amanda) Parsons and Shawn (Salem) Parsons; daughter, Shelby (Roger) Thompson; grandson, Tripp Thompson; and several nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends will meet Friday, September 11, 2026 at 9:45am at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920 for a 10:00am graveside service. Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
