Michael A. Loy "Tony"

Michael A. Loy “Tony”, age 66 of Knoxville, passed away January 3, 2024. He was saved as a young man at Elm Street Baptist Church. He was a faithful employee of Comcast for 32 years, where he worked as a lineman. Tony was a goofball, who enjoyed being outside in the sun no matter the activity. He loved to work with guns, trucks, and cars, and especially loved old cars. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father, who had a sweet tooth for Little Debbie cakes. Preceded in death by father J.B. Loy and step-father Bill Wold. Survived by loving wife of 32 years Kimberly Lunsford Loy, mother Mona Wold, daughters Tami Lawson (Chris), Christina Lay, Maddison Loy, grandchildren Braylon Mitchell, Peyton Mitchell, Liam Thompson, Jayce Lay, Eli Lay, Nova Lay, and Katlyn Lay, brother Tim Loy (Pam), niece and nephew Isabell and Creed Loy. Family will receive friends 2:00-4:00pm Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00pm.
