Michael Richard Harness

Michael Richard Harness, Jr., age 47, of Knoxville and Hamblen, TN, died Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Mike was a graduate of Halls High School Class of 1996. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Richard Harness, Sr; grandparents, Alferd and Ethel Harness and Cecil and Louise Kuykendall; father-in-law, Jackie Maxwell and mother-in-law, Tammy Lane. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Lacey Harness; five dearly loved fur babies; mother, Carol Harness; brother, James Harness; sisters, Mary Harness Roberts, Mika Harness Bostur; sister-in-law, Heather Hembree; several uncles, aunts, many nieces and one nephew and several lifelong friends to numerous to mention. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet by 12:45 PM Monday, March 11, 2024 at Fort Sumter Community Cemetery for a 1:00 PM graveside service with Reverend Jack Green officiating.
