Michael Wayne Collins

Michael Wayne Collins, Age 70, entered the presence of Jesus on Friday, October 10, 2025. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rebecca (Becky) Carpenter Collins; parents, Lloyd H. and Virginia G. Collins; son, Isaac David Collins; brothers, Lloyd A. (Betty), James David, Darrell Lynn, and Larry Dean. He is survived by step-daughter, Alicia Carpenter Tipton; step-son, Eric Bayless; sisters, Glenna Lowe (John) of Portsmouth, VA and Lavonna Collins of Maryville, TN; brother, John Edward of Plano, TX; and grandchildren, Cayla (Lily) Cunningham and Cody Cunningham. He really thought of Alicia and Eric as his own daughter and son. He was a graduate of Everett High School. Mike said he had a lot of fond memories of his and Becky’s adventures over the years and being spontaneous. He was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church. He retired from Kimberly-Clark Corp., Knoxville. There will be a Private Interment Service.
