Micah Lee Bray

Micah Lee “Mikie” Bray, 51, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

Mikie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was an active member of his church 43:19 Ministries and loved the Lord deeply. He loved his family fiercely, and his grandchildren were truly the light of his life. Known for his sense of humor, Mikie could make a joke out of just about anything and had a way of bringing laughter to those around him. He also had a special love for his cats, who brought him great comfort and companionship.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lori Bray; daughter, Hunter and husband DJ Chandler; grandchildren, Grace, Masyn, Peyton, and Lincoln; mother-in-law, Linda and husband, Ross Murray; Father-in-law, R.P. McCown; sister, Misty and husband Tim Bunch; sister-in-law, Heather and husband, Brent Raper; nieces, Courtney and husband Lee Ring, Caitlyn and husband Jake Mitchell, Kaitlyn and husband, Cody Spears, Riley Raper; nephew, Dylan Gribble; special cousins in Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Elsie Bray.

Mikie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel from 5:00pm until 7:00pm with a service following at 7:00pm with Pastor Dale Buchanan officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 10:00am to go in procession to Lynch Bethel Cemetery for a 11:00am graveside service.

Pallbearers will be Adam McCown, Travis McCown, Tyler McCown, D.J. Chandler, Jason Whaley, Sean Wilson, Isaac Wilson and Tim Bunch.
