Melissa Dawn Thompson

Melissa Dawn Thompson, age 49, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023.

She is preceded in death by grandfather, Arthur Tindell, Sr.; grandmother, Ennis Jane Jones; grandparents-in-law, Pete and Maymie Jensen and Virginia Thompson Scott.

She is survived by husband, Jeremy Thompson; children, Jonas Logan Thompson and Trent Andrew Thompson; parents, Dallas and Linda Jones; siblings, Michael Shane Gregg (Joy) and Bobby Joe “Joey” Gregg, Jr. (Michaela); father and mother-in-law, Ted and Brenda Thompson; sister-in-law, Rebecca Thompson Lacy (Rob); many other nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the nurses and medical team at UT Medical Center for their exceptional care of Melissa during this time.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel from 5:00pm until time of funeral service at 7:00pm with Rev. Terry Barnwell officiating.
