Melissa K. Denton Nichols, age 45, of Knoxville, TN, was called home on Monday, June 7, 2021 to be with her daddy Lester (Pooch) Denton; Nanny, Lilly Denton; and grandson, Elijah Nichols, forever in eternal peace. Survivors include Babyboy, Keegan Nichols; daughter, Merissa Nichols; daughter-in-law, Jessica Nichols; grandsons, Sterling, and Callum Nichols; mother, Regina Denton; sisters, Angela Denton, Pamela (Holly) Farmer, and several family and friends. She also leaves behind her beloved special pets, Deet, Paco, and Nyla. Family will receive friends Friday, June 18th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City, Chapel. Family and friends will meet Saturday, June 19th at 11:30 am at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel for a funeral service following procession to graveside at 1:00 pm at Woodlawn cemetery.
