Melissa Lynn Honeycutt

Melissa Lynn Honeycutt “Denton”, age 55, passed away on December 24, 2024 in Knoxville, TN. Melissa was born the youngest of four children to Barbara Tarver “Denton” and Jay Denton in Dallas, TX on April 10, 1969. Melissa was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Presnell; mother, Barbara Denton and brother, Jay Roy Denton Jr. She is survived by sister, Gloria Denean Kelly; sons, David Dewayne McKinney, Micah Shane McKinney, Jacob Wesley Hurst and Ryan Daniel Hurst; nephews, Jason (Angel) Lickliter, Christopher Michael Lickliter, Sean Kelly and Christian McKinney. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 4-5pm with a 5pm service to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City chapel.
