Melissa "Missy" Diane Burkhardt

Melissa “Missy” Diane Burkhardt age 50, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025. She was born November 8, 1974 to the late Thomas Burkhardt and Diane Burkhardt Bryant. Missy was a very loving, caring, person that would do anything for any and everyone. Missy loved with her whole heart, especially when it came to her family and friends. She loved people no matter who they were. She is going to be dearly missed by all.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jackie and Chucky Burkhardt, stepfather, Eddie Bryant, grandparents, E.G. and Betty Sharp; aunt, Betty Sue, and several cousins. Missy is survived by her daughter and most pride and joy, Savannah Burkhardt, and the light of her life her grandson, Elijah Burkhardt, aunt, Judi Posey, uncles: Hank, Johnny, Dennis and Steve; several nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, many cousins, and many beloved family and friends.

There will be no service at this time. The family will announce a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
