Lucille (Blanton) Lockhart, age 101 of Knoxville, TN passed away on May 10, 2026. Lucille worked at Defense Plant World War II. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and graduated from Halls High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lockhart, parents, Gurley and Arlie Blanton, brother, Kenneth Blanton, and sister, Almeda (Blanton) Boruff. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley (Lockhart) Calloway and Deborah (Lockhart) Turley, granddaughters, Natalie P. Cox and Danielle (Austin) Turner, two great-grandchildren, Molly June and Jennings Turner and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to The Pointe at Life Springs staff and UT Hospice for the wonderful care given to their mother. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 1:00pm - 2:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a funeral service to follow officiated by Gary Vandergriff. Interment will take place at Union Baptist Church Cemetery at 3:00pm on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Pallbearers will be Bud Ford, Brent Taylor, Todd Boruff, Scott Boruff, Doyle Johnson, and Kenny Weaver. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Union Baptist Church, 8244 Maynardville Hwy Knoxville, TN 37938. Condolences can be made at www.mynattfh.com
