Mary “Elaine” Vance age 74 went home to be with the Lord on April 11, 2026.She was a lifelong member of Texas Valley Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Harold Leamon Nelson and Dorothy Lee Nelson.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years William “Bill” Vance; children Scott (Jennifer) Vance and Jason Vance. Grandchildren John Michael, Preston, Parker, Paisley Vance. Siblings Ronnie Nelson brother, Penny Nelson. nieces Julie (Justin) Long children Jack, Henry, Evette. Ashley (Kevin) Isenberg children Isaiah and Isaac.
Services will be Officiated by Pastor Bill McCarter
The family will have a Call at Convenience from 11:00 – 5:00 Tuesday April 14,2026 at Mynatt Halls Chapel.
A graveside service will be on Wednesday April 15,2026 at Ft. Sumter community cemetery. Family and friends will meet at cemetery at 10:45 for an 11:00 am service.
