Mary F. Lynn

With broken hearts, we are sad to announce that on February 25, 2024, Mary Frances (Gammon) Lynn, age 89, of Dandridge, TN, passed away. Her family and friends were honored to spend precious time with her giving us words of wisdom, encouragement, and love in the days prior to her passing.  She was our most faithful family prayer warrior. 

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.  Preceded in death by daughter, Sherry (Dave) Walton; parents, Bruce & Gladys Gammon; brothers, Bruce, Leroy, and Jimmy Gammon. 

Mary leaves behind her loving husband of 72 years, Leroy Lynn; sons, Stacy (Debra) Lynn; Gary (Cynthia) Lynn; Bruce (Tonya) Lynn; Andrew (Stacy) Lynn, daughter, Sandra Lynn; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; special friend Dee Williams; Bill & Norma Kennedy; and loyal companion Ranger. 

Mary was a devoted wife, mother, loving grandmother & great grandmother. She taught anyone who was privileged to know her how to love.  She had a passion for art, was a talented floral designer, and a collector of many things.

Family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a service to follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Mark Kilbourne and Rev. Bruce Marston officiating, along with guest speaker, Darrell Williams. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Eastview Memorial Gardens for an 11:00am graveside service officiated by Rev. Andrew Lynn. Pallbearers: Christopher Lynn, Nathan Lynn, Jacob Lynn, Gregory Brown, Logan Lynn and Derrick Lynn.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ United Methodist Church (Halls) or New Antioch Missionary Baptist Church (Corryton).
