Mary Katherine Henderson

Mary Katherine Henderson age 83 of Knoxville, TN passed away on October 29, 2026. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter G. Henderson; mother, Grace Capps; siblings, Marie, Jessie, David, and Sarah.

She is survived by her sons, Walter F. Henderson and Preston Henderson (Tasha); daughter, April Henderson; grandchildren, Kaley Cole (Trevor), Brady Henderson (Bethany), Michael Silvers, Heather Miller (Max), and Lane Henderson; great-grandchildren, Everly Cole, Ruby Cole, Theodore Cole, Mason Silvers, and Kitana Silvers. 

Mary was laid to rest at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on Friday, November 6, 2026. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to help with funeral related expenses.
