Mary Helen Rodgers

Mary Helen Rodgers - born September 6, 1942, passed away peacefully February 2, 2013 and went home to be with her Heavenly Father. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and soon to be great grandmother. Everyone who knew her claimed she was a kind hearted and loving person. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Scarbrough. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lonzo Rodgers; son, James Rodgers and wife, Margaret, of Heiskell; daughter, Cynthia Warwick and husband, Wiley, of Heiskell; and grandson, Jonathan Warwick and wife, Annie, of Maryville; and many special friends and neighbors. Service 8:00 p.m., Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Rev. Richard Turner and Rev. Charlie Tindell officiating. Family and friends will meet, 1:45 p.m., Tuesday, at New Loyston Cemetery for interment at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
