Mary Estel Mccroskey Laugherty

Mary McCroskey Laugherty, age 92 of Knoxville, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Mary was of the Baptist faith and a member of Black Oak Heights Baptist Church. She retired from Standard Knitting Mill after 42 years of service as a seamstress. Mary’s favorite pastime was sitting on the porch watching the birds, chipmunks, rabbits, and squirrels. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles McCroskey; and daughters, Myra Emery and Joyce McCroskey. She is survived by her son, Terry McCroskey. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a 12:00 pm service to follow Rev. Todd Stinnett officiating.
