Mary Elizabeth Bowman

Mary Elizabeth Bowman, age 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. She was saved at an early age and a faithful member of Highland View Missionary Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed reading and cooking. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James Bowman; parents, Rev. Beryl and Bertha Webber; brother, Alvin Webber; sister, Julie Raines. She is survived by children, Rhonda Hunter (Steve), James “Randy” Bowman and Yvonne Fielden (Doug); grandchildren, Jason Kirkpatrick (Carla), Stephanie “Hope” Britt (Mark), Dr. Aaron Fielden (Erin), Amy Ross (Brandon), Shawna Lister and Reileigh Lister; great grandchildren, Jackson and Luke Kirkpatrick, Eli and Noah Britt, Faith, Ella and Lincoln Fielden, Addyson Foust and Bryson Ross; sister, Helen Lunsford and Faye Cooper; special friends, Karen Brooks, Karen Vance and Loretta Sherritz; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 5:00pm until time of funeral service at 7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Doug Fielden and Rev. Terry Walker officiating. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 1:15 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel to go in procession to Ft. Sumter Cemetery for an 2:00pm graveside service.
