Mary Ann White

Mary Ann (Heath) White age 82, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend. Her kindness and love touched everyone she met.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Nettie “Granny” Heath; her loving husband, Haston Devon White; sisters, Jeanette Dance and Barbara Crewsonberry; brothers, Billy Heath, Floyd Heath and Wilford Heath; granddaughter, Stacy (White) Wood; and great-grandson, Caleb Wood.

Survived by her loving children, Darrell (Jennifer) White, Sharon (Tim) Bright and Vonda White; grandchildren, Stephanie Day, Ashley Messer, Sheri Ruckart, Devon White, Chad (Hayley) Bright, Amanda White and Eli White; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Mary will always be remembered for her love of family and her willingness to volunteer with coaching sports, Scouts and the Alzheimer’s Association.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel on Friday, January 30, 2026, followed by a 7:00 PM funeral service officiated by Danny Scates. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 AM on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, and travel in procession to Sherwood Memorial Gardens for an interment. Serving as Pallbearers: Dave Vanderbur, Victor Dance, Tim Jeffers, Robert Crewsonberry, Chad Bright and Matthew White. Honorary Pallbearers: Sonny Jeffers, Devon White and Blake Day.
