Marvin B. Enix, 88, of Knoxville died Saturday, Jan. 15th at his home after a prolonged illness. He leaves a legacy of love, generosity and faith. He served in the US Army from 1955-56. An avid card player, pool player and golfer he enjoyed a good competition and a good meal. His family always knew how much he loved them. He was born in the Harlan, KY area and spent most of his youth in Middlesboro, KY where he was one of 10 siblings born to the Rev. B.H. and Roxie Enix. He leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Mare’, his sons Bill (Janice), Mark (Flower) and daughter Tammy along with 4 fur babies. Also, left to mourn his passing are his grandchildren: Tyler, Stoney (Amy), Bobby Collins (Samantha), Katie and Trey Enix, 7 great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter. He leaves his one surviving brother Jack (Polly) of New Tazewell, TN and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held Sat.
