Martha Jean Bodie

Martha Jean Bodie, age 80, passed away July 30, 2018. Martha was a member of Alice Bell Baptist Church and a longtime member of Beaver Brooke Country Club. Martha was preceded in death by parents, Paul and Beatrice Estes; brothers, Tootle, Gene, Bud V.A. and Paul Estes. Martha is survived by husband of 60 years, Tom Bodie Sr.; sons, Tom (Jackie) Bodie Jr. and Timothy (Tammy) Bodie; sister, Faye Vandergriff; grandchildren, Amy Stinnett, Jennifer (Jeff) Nieto, Brent (Jennifer) Bodie; also 6 great-grandchildren; one great great grandson; and many loving nieces and nephews and special friends. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00pm, Thursday August 2, 2018, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow at 8:00pm. Services will be officiated Rev. Toby Everette. Family and friends will meet 9:45am, Friday, at Lynnhurst Cemetery for interment at 10:00am. Pallbearers will be Tommy Jr., Timothy, Brent Bodie, Jeff Nieto, Rocky, Shane, Ricky and Randy Estes.
